SAFER SPACE POLICY:

Celebration of Life is about togetherness, inclusivity, love and the free spirit. At Celebration of Life we welcome everyone wide with open arms. It’s a celebration. We aim to be the safest space for all genders, class, ages, backgrounds, colors, sexualities and abilities to feel free and be seen. We intend to create this space that is intersectional, liberating, respectful, loving, generous and as safe as possible for everyone attending.

To be able to do that, there are certain things we ask you to keep in mind. By entering our space, you agree to adhere to the following:

CONCENT IS PARAMOUNT:

Always ask and be sure to get a clear definite “YES” before getting intimate. This applies to everyone including our lovely performers.

A ZERO-TOLERANCE IS APPLIED FOR:

Harassment, racism, sexism, discrimination, homo/queer/transphobia, body shaming, violence, verbal violence, vandalism, drink spiking and theft. Anyone acting contrary to this will be asked to leave immediately.

Celebration of Life is a haven for the lgbtqia+ community, for the outsiders, open-minded allies and artists who like to express themselves in a safe setting where you are not judged by your looks, gender origin or whatsoever.

BEING AN ALLY:

If you are an ally, we ask you to consider what being an ally means to you. You are in someone’s house and we therefore ask you to respect and understand that unconditionally. You are a welcome guest in a special place, a place where people want to feel free and liberated. Anyone not agreeing or understanding this will be asked to leave immediately, but should NOT buy / have bought a ticket in the first place.

Next to our staff and security we have an AWARENESS TEAM at the venue. If you feel uncomfortable or unsafe in any way, please do not hesitate to reach out to them. They are here for you! They will keep an eye out, and will be recognizable by their ORANGE ARMLETS. If you see something, say something. If someone is in need, please get them the help they deserve.

PHOTOGRAPHY:

Be aware that we have a professional camera crew that will shoot content at our events for marketing purposes. By visiting our events, you have agreed to these terms. If you find material of yourself online which you don’t want online, please let us know via the contact form on this site. However collaborative posts on our social media can never be taken down. Single image post can. Please note that we always filter before posting.

Looking out for friends and others extends beyond our event. Make sure you keep an eye out while traveling home!

Be kind to each other, enjoy, and RAVE SAFE!
