Queer sound. Safer space. Collective celebration.
Celebration of Life is about inclusion, empowerment, the queer community, and a party culture bursting with color, pride, and connection.
We’re more than just an event — we’re a cultural force. Through community building, open calls for underrepresented voices, and financial hardship tickets, we create meaningful social impact and foster real connections.
Celebration of Life claims its space! Our mission is to bring queer culture and underground artists into the mainstream, because queer music and culture deserve to be celebrated and recognized everywhere.
Since 2021, Celebration of Life has been a cornerstone of Antwerp’s nightlife — a vibrant electronic music event with the LGBTQIA+ community at its core. Brought to you by the creative minds behind the iconic Fanklub (2004–2007) and SCANDALS! (2012–2022).
Next Celebration of Life: October 11, 2025
Each edition delivers a high-energy lineup of cutting-edge LGBTQIA+, FLINTA*, and POC artists from across the globe — championing the boldest queer voices shaping the future of electronic music.
A safer space — always.
We create the safest space possible. Every event is supported by a trained, sober awareness team who are present and approachable throughout the night, alongside a professional and respectful security crew. Together, they protect the vibe we’re known for: inclusive, empowering, and full of care.
But a truly safe space is something we build together. That’s why everyone who enters agrees to our house rules and helps co-create an atmosphere of kindness, accountability, and mutual respect. Celebration of Life isn’t just something we host — it’s something we create with you.
A labor of love.
This is where unforgettable moments are born — at the intersection of music, identity, and connection. As Celebration of Life continues to grow, we remain committed to evolving: listening, learning, and moving forward with our community every step of the way.
We are a registered non-profit (VZW) and do not receive structural government funding. We are, however, grateful for the limited support we receive from the Nationale Loterij.
We can’t wait to welcome you to our dance floor.
See you there.
