Celebration of Life is a vibrant electronic music event that has been a cornerstone of Antwerp’s nightlife since its debut in 2021, with a strong focus on uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community. It’s brought to you by the creative minds behind the iconic Fanklub (2004–2007) and SCANDALS! (2012–2022).

Each edition brings a high-energy lineup of cutting-edge LGBTQIA+, FLINTA*, and POC artists from around the world—championing the boldest queer voices shaping the future of electronic music.

At Celebration of Life, creating the safest possible space for all attendees is not just a priority—it’s a core part of our identity. Every edition is supported by a trained, sober awareness team who remain present and proactive throughout the night, alongside a supportive and professional security crew. These teams work hand-in-hand to protect the atmosphere we’re known for: respectful, empowering, and inclusive.

But a truly safe space is something we build together. That’s why everyone who enters agrees to uphold our house rules and contribute to a collective vibe of care, kindness, and mutual respect. Celebration of Life isn’t just something we host—it’s something we co-create with our community.

Our event is a labor of love, where unforgettable moments are born at the intersection of music, identity, and connection. And as Celebration of Life continues to grow, we remain committed to evolving—learning with and from our audience, every step of the way.

Celebration of Life is a VZW (non-profit organization) and does not benefit from governmental fundings. However we get a limited support from Nationale Loterij, for which we are very grateful.

We’re not in it for the money — throwing events this size doesn’t come cheap (trust us, the bills aren't shy). And while covering costs is essential, we’re dreaming even bigger for the future.
